Sold the house!

We have finally sold the house and acreage! Seemed to take a long time but it was only on the market a little over two months. We had lots of lookers but only one offer -- we had to come down on price a bit but we didn't want to drag out the process any longer. The people who are buying the house are going to run a taxidermy business out back in the building. He already has a full time taxidermy business in Fremont and needs more space. They have never lived in the country before and are looking forward to it.

We have sold most of the furniture -- to friends or friends of friends. Much better than doing another garage sale or putting an ad in the paper. Our friends are getting good deals, and we know the furniture will be appreciated. Today we are loading clothes into the 5th wheel. We need to be very selective as to what to take. Since we will be traveling to different areas, we are taking some cool weather clothes as well as summer clothes.

We bought a cargo trailer to store some items; we will store it on a lot for much cheaper than renting a storage unit, and we can sell it when we are finished with it. Plus we can haul it to where ever we need without unloading and repacking.
