getting up steps

My foot is much better - still in the ortho shoe but I am able to climb up and down steps without any help. That means I can get into the RV! I am using a cane; no more crutches.

We will take the ramp for Leonard, our Rottweiler, in case he needs it. Right now he is still pretty good on stairs but he is 10 years old. As much as he weighs (100 lbs)there is no way we could carry him.

Doug has been working on the RV, getting it ready for our trip to Denver. Can't wait to get on the road!

Doctors

Doug has an appointment for an ultrasound for his gallbladder next week. This, and my broken foot make us feel glad we are in our stick built home. We have discussed what we will do when on the road in our 5th wheel. We will be coming back to Fremont several times a year to see Doug's mom anyway, so we will schedule Dr visits then. Ideally nothing will happen while we are gone! If necessary, we can always find a medical clinic somewhere. Lots of people travel full time with medical problems.
